This week I’ve got a simple, no cooking recipe for you – simple, delicious pico de gallo. It takes just a few minutes to chop up, mix together, and serve over rice and beans, with chips, in burritos, etc.
I don’t think there’s much to say on this one other than…salsa is so tasty, cheaper made at home than if you buy something pre-made at the store, and it’s so much better when you’ve made it yourself with fresh ingredients.
My homemade salsa is:
- Fresh
- Spicy
- Acidic
- Amazing over rice and beans (or any other favorite dish)
It typically whip this up to have with a quick meal of rice and beans, but it also pairs perfectly with my refried habanero black beans (coming next week) in homemade burritos!
If you try out this recipe, please share it with me by commenting or tagging me in a photo on Instagram @plantsnotplastic. Enjoy!
